Filter groove - In the world of pour-over coffee, the filter is an important element. The structure of the filter affects the flow rate, which in turn affects the extraction time, a key factor in the extraction rate. Among the components of the filter, the easiest to identify and choose is the depth of the groove, which can be simplified as follows:

 

溝槽深、排氣強、流速快、風味明顯、口感清爽

Deep grooves have strong air flow, fast flow rate, distinct flavor, and refreshing mouthfeel.


溝槽淺、排氣弱、流速慢、甘甜厚實、平衡濃郁

Shallow grooves have weak air flow, slow flow rate, thick and sweet flavor, and balanced richness.
