磨豆機的使用 Using a Coffee Grinder

有沒有想過磨豆機的使用順序有二種。第一種,先啟動磨豆機運轉、再倒入 咖啡豆 ;第二種,先倒入咖啡豆、再啟動磨豆機。

Did you know there are two ways to use a coffee grinder? The first way is to start the grinder and then pour in the coffee beans. The second way is to pour in the coffee beans first and then start the grinder.

 

如果是研磨淺焙咖啡豆、質地相對深焙咖啡豆來的堅硬,以第二種方式磨豆,會比較容易磨損咖啡機、甚至讓咖啡機保險絲燒掉,或是粒徑的粗細分布更大。因此建議以第一種做為磨豆習慣較佳。

If you are grinding light roast coffee beans or beans with a relatively hard texture compared to dark roast coffee beans, grinding the beans using the second method may cause more wear and tear on the coffee grinder, even causing the fuse to blow, or causing a wider variation in particle size. Therefore, it is recommended to use the first method as a better grinding habit.

 

PS.這裏提到的磨豆機不是手搖式、也不是刀片式的磨豆機。

Note: The coffee grinder mentioned here is not a manual or blade coffee grinder.
