咖啡豆不放冰箱的原因
新鮮烘焙的咖啡豆,會排放二氧化碳,並由單孔透氣閥排出。讓咖啡豆加快老化的三個主因是: 氧氣、溼氣、高溫(陽光),所以在良好的咖啡豆袋包裝下,已避免這三個主因。並不需要再放在冰箱中保存,拿進拿出冰箱的同時,會有水氣凝結在其表面造成潮溼,反而減少咖啡豆的保存期。
Don’t Store Coffee Beans in the Fridge - Freshly roasted coffee beans emit carbon dioxide, which is released through a one-way valve. The three main factors that accelerate the deterioration of coffee beans are: oxygen, moisture, and high temperature (sunlight). Therefore, with proper packaging, these three factors can be avoided, and there is no need to store the coffee beans in the refrigerator. Bringing them in and out of the refrigerator causes moisture to condense on their surface, causing dampness and reducing the shelf life of the coffee beans.
