Single estate coffee has a larger margin for error in brewing because its quality is relatively stable and its flavors are distinct. This coffee comes from a specific farm, meticulously cultivated and processed by the estate owner, which gives it clear regional flavor characteristics. Even with slight variations in grind size, water temperature, or extraction time, the flavor and texture of the coffee do not change significantly, still offering a high-quality tasting experience. Therefore, for pour-over coffee beginners or those looking for consistent coffee flavors, single estate coffee is an ideal choice. Its high quality and stability allow coffee enthusiasts to more easily enjoy the deliciousness of each cup.

Discuss coffee tolerance by adjusting the extraction yield.

When discussing coffee's margin for error, it can be explained through the four factors of coffee extraction. Today, we will attempt to adjust two of these parameters to see if the coffee remains delicious. The parameters adjusted are water temperature and time. Increasing the water temperature can increase the extraction rate, and increasing the time can also increase the extraction rate; conversely, lowering these will decrease the extraction rate. Today's pour-over experiment consists of three brewing methods: Version A is the normal version, Version B reduces extraction rate and increases concentration, and Version C increases extraction rate and reduces concentration. The coffee will be brewed by new employees who are not very skilled in pour-over. If they can still bring out the various coffee flavors, it indicates a larger margin for error.

When brewing single estate coffee, slight variations in water temperature or extraction time do not significantly alter the flavor and texture of the coffee. For pour-over coffee beginners, this margin for error provides a higher sense of achievement and allows them to more easily master brewing techniques and enjoy a consistent and delicious coffee experience. This makes single estate coffee an ideal choice for many coffee enthusiasts.
