La Esperanza, which means "hope" in Spanish, seems to be a popular name choice among coffee farmers in Colombia. In the 2019 COE Colombia (E), two award-winning estates shared the name "La Esperanza," but they were located in different regions and had different owners, ranking 10th and 23rd respectively. Additionally, the previously mentioned "La Esperanza - Cerro Azul" is yet another estate. Below, we present the 10th-place winner of the 2019 COE, Lopez Aquadeloy Cia Limitada.
莊園主Jairo的父親於1959年收購希望莊園(La Esperanza) ，並於1984年創建Lopez Agudelo公司，進行咖啡出口。直到2014年，將種植多年的Castillo品種轉換為藝伎/藝妓品種。 從此提升咖啡品質，並在2019年COE以89.54分獲得第10名!
The estate's owner, Jairo, acquired La Esperanza in 1959, and in 1984, he established the Lopez Agudelo company for coffee exports. It wasn't until 2014 that they transitioned from growing the traditional Castillo variety to the Geisha variety. This change significantly improved the coffee quality, and in the 2019 COE, they secured 89.54 points, earning them the 10th position in the competition!
