最佳巴拿馬 Best of Panama(BOP) - 1996年創辦第一屆巴拿馬生豆競賽至今，5月22-26日剛舉辦完第22屆 BOP 。建立一個提升巴拿馬咖啡農作者的平台，提升精品咖啡的高品質，是巴拿馬精品咖啡協會建立宗旨。
The Best of Panama (BOP) competition was first held in 1996 and has become one of the most important green coffee competitions worldwide. The 22nd BOP competition took place from May 22-26. It serves as a platform to elevate Panamanian coffee farmers and highlight the exceptional quality of their coffees, which is the main purpose of Panamanian Specialty Coffee Association to set it up.
最佳巴拿馬競賽類別
2018年競賽分五大組，藝妓水洗組、藝妓日曬組、帕卡馬拉組、傳統種水洗組、傳統種日曬組。參與競賽的莊園主可提交不同品種、處理法的批次生豆，以參加不同組別的競賽，由大會統一包裝、二次編碼、烘焙後，由15位國內評審及18位國際評審進行兩輪評分，最終達到分數要求的方能參加全球競標。2018年7月19日進行全球競標。今年真的是巴拿馬最有品質的一年，共有49個競標批次，其中高達39個批次超過90分，並由艾利達莊園的藝妓水洗組94.66分打破歷史新高！
In 2018, BOP featured five categories: Washed Geisha, Natural Geisha, Pacamara, Traditional Washed, and Traditional Natural. Farmers could submit different varieties and processing methods for competition, BOP will do packaging and coding altogether. The event involved blind tastings by 15 national judges and 18 international judges across two evaluation rounds. Only coffees meeting the required score advanced to the global auction. It’s on July 19, 2018. That year, 39 of the 49 auctioned lots scored above 90 points, marking one of Panama’s best years in coffee history. The Elida Estate set a record with 94.66 points in the Washed Geisha category!
除了每年的生豆比賽獎項外，還有一個積分制度，在各項比賽中獲得積分最高的莊園會獲得年度最佳生產者(Panama Cup)，2018年獲此殊榮的，就是拿下藝妓水洗組、藝妓日曬組的雙料冠軍艾利達莊園(Elida)！
Apart from individual awards, BOP also has a Panama Cup, given to the farm with the highest cumulative scores across categories. In 2018, the Elida Estate won the title by securing first place in both the Washed and Natural Geisha categories！
