適量飲用咖啡降低死亡風險
研究團隊從英國生物樣本庫數據,分析17萬多名受試者1年內的生活型態,包括他們喝咖啡的習慣,追蹤7年後的狀況,受試者年齡介於37~73歲間,參與研究時,並沒有心血管疾病及癌症。結果發現,飲用適量咖啡的人,約每天1.5~3.5杯(1杯250cc),在研究期間死亡風險比不喝咖啡的人低3成左右,其中喝3杯咖啡的人死亡風險最低。

The research team analyzed the lifestyle of more than 170,000 people within one year from the data of the British Biobank, including their coffee drinking habits, and tracked their status after 7 years. People were between 37 and 73 years old, did not have cardiovascular disease and cancer when participating in the study. It was found that people who drank moderate amounts of coffee, about 1.5 to 3.5 cups per day (1 cup of 250cc), had a 30% lower risk of death than those who did not drink coffee during the study period, and those who drank 3 cups of coffee had the lowest risk of death.

根據英國生物銀行(biobank)在2009年到2018年之間的統計數據分析發現,喝咖啡可以有效的降低死亡率,長期飲用黑咖啡,就是什麼都不加的純咖啡,比完全不喝咖啡的人的死亡率要低16%到29%;不論喝多少,只要喝了,死亡率就會低。但是喝咖啡的量,和死亡率是呈U型相關,就是喝一點的時候死亡率降低還不是很多,但喝多了之後就迅速下降,再喝多了就會U型相關又回彈。數據表明,死亡率的最低點是每天喝2.5杯到4.5杯之間。比這個量少,或者比這量多的話,死亡率都會回彈。1杯大概是270cc左右。
