坊間傳聞頭痛時喝咖啡可減輕疼痛,咖啡中的咖啡因被認為能夠收縮血管,有助於緩解頭痛。它還影響大腦中與疼痛感知相關的化學物質,提高對疼痛的忍受度。研究顯示,咖啡因可增強某些止痛藥物的效果,尤其對於血管擴張引起的偏頭痛有一定效果。然而,個體反應因人而異,使用時需謹慎,最好在醫生建議下進行。

It is a common belief that drinking coffee can alleviate pain when experiencing a headache. The caffeine in coffee is believed to constrict blood vessels, which helps relieve headaches. It also affects chemicals in the brain associated with pain perception, increasing pain tolerance. Studies have shown that caffeine can enhance the effectiveness of certain pain relievers, especially for migraines caused by blood vessel dilation. However, individual responses vary, so caution is needed when using it, and it is best to do so under medical advice.

 

有輕微的頭痛時,飲用咖啡會減輕疼痛感,這是因為咖啡因具有血管收縮作用,對於因為血管膨脹而造成的偏頭痛具有顯著效果。但飲用過量可能反而導致偏頭痛更加嚴重。咖啡、紅茶等飲品都含有咖啡因。

When experiencing mild headaches, drinking coffee can reduce the sensation of pain because caffeine has a vasoconstrictive effect, which is particularly effective for headaches caused by blood vessel dilation. However, excessive consumption may actually exacerbate headaches. Beverages such as coffee and tea contain caffeine.

咖啡因常常被加進⼀般的市售⽌痛藥裡,例如paracetamol或ibuprofen,可以增加5%到10%的⽌痛效果,但⾄少要65mg的咖啡因才有效果。咖啡因對頭痛來說有好處也有壞處,不管是張⼒性頭痛或是偏頭痛,咖啡因加⽌痛藥,都顯⽰有增加益處。咖啡因本⾝的⽌痛效果需要到很⾼的劑量,對於偏頭痛的病⼈需要到大於200mg才有效。

Caffeine is often added to over-the-counter pain medications such as paracetamol or ibuprofen, which can increase the pain-relieving effect by 5% to 10%, but at least 65mg of caffeine is needed for it to be effective. Caffeine has both benefits and drawbacks for headaches. Whether it's tension headaches or migraines, caffeine added to painkillers shows increased benefits. The pain-relieving effect of caffeine itself requires very high doses, with more than 200mg needed for migraine patients to be effective.
