For a cup of fragrant specialty coffee, some people like simple and convenient drip coffee and some people like to grind their own beans especially and brew them slowly by hand to feel the relaxed and comfortable feeling. There are some small details that you may not have thought of. Let the barista chat with you today, so you know which is a better fit for you.

 

濾掛製作有充氮氣可以保鮮,讓開封就像現磨。但濾掛的「沖泡空間」有限,這是它比較沒辦法100%發揮的地方。如果說一支豆子好好沖可以有10分,濾掛好好沖最多就8分,但隨意沖也不會太低分;同一支豆子如果沖不好,可能連4分都沒有。

 

The drip coffee is filled with nitrogen to keep it fresh, so it is like fresh grinding when you open it. However, the “brewing space” of drip coffee is limited, which is why it can't perform 100%. If you say that a coffee bean is perfectly brewed, you can get 10 points, and you can get 8 points at most if you brew a drip coffee. However, it won’t get too low if you brew it arbitrarily. If the same coffee bean is not brewed well, it may not even get 4 points.

 

為何說同一支豆子會連4分都沒有,因為磨豆機的好壞占重要一部份原因,製作濾掛用的是進口磨豆機,採用高硬度鋼刀大刀盤,可以研磨均勻之外,研磨時溫度極低、可以保留咖啡香氣,咖啡芳香物質對溫度極為敏感,研磨時產生的溫度,會造成咖啡風味散逸,所以低研磨溫度可保留咖啡香氣。

 

Why we say that the same bean will not even score 4 points, because the quality of the grinder is an important part of brewing. We use imported grinder to make the drip coffee, and the very hard steel knife and large cutter head are used to grind beans evenly. The temperature during grinding is extremely low, which can retain the aroma of coffee. The aroma of coffee is extremely sensitive to temperature. The temperature generated during grinding will cause the coffee flavor to dissipate, so the low grinding temperature can retain the aromas of coffee.

 

充氮氣走自動化包裝之濾掛製作成本較高,製作基本量也較大,特殊微批次豆子就不適合做充氮保鮮的濾掛。特殊豆子也是咖啡老饕的最愛,老饕們的磨豆機也是一個比一個高檔,就比較沒有上述的研磨疑問,也是適合好好沖的好豆子。

 

The production cost of automatic packaging of drip coffee is high because of nitrogen filling and the basic amount of production is also large. Special micro-batch beans are not suitable for nitrogen-filling drip coffee. Special beans are also the favorite of coffee lovers. The grinders of coffee lovers are more likely high-end than others, so there is less of the above-mentioned grinding problems, and they are also good beans for good brewing.
