咖啡品種

很多人都知道 咖啡豆 的品種,不外乎 阿拉比卡 種(Arabica,風味優雅,是精品咖啡 )、 羅布斯塔種 (Robusta,風味粗糙,咖啡因高出阿拉比卡兩倍以上,不是精品咖啡)。
Many people are familiar with the general classification of coffee beans, mainly Arabica and Robusta. Arabica Known for its refined and elegant flavors, it is the primary type used in specialty coffee. Robusta Has a rougher taste and contains more than twice the caffeine of Arabica. It is not considered specialty coffee.

但是,怎麼又還有一堆常聽到的品種,像是:古優原生種鐵比卡波旁卡杜拉、SL28、藝妓帕卡斯帕卡馬拉等。這些是阿拉比卡種底下的亞種,至少有二千至三千個品種,上述舉列的品種是近年來國際大賽上經常勝出的品種,也是JC咖啡選用的豆種,各品種的風味不同、豐富而有層次,值得細細品味。

But beyond these, there are many well-known sub-varieties such as Heirloom (Ethiopian landrace), Typica, Bourbon, Caturra, SL28, Geisha, Pacas, and Pacamara. These are all subspecies under the Arabica category, and there are at least 2,000 to 3,000 different varieties. The varieties listed above are some of the most frequent winners in international coffee competitions and are also the selected bean varieties for Justin Coffee. Each variety has its unique flavor profile, complexity, and depth, making them truly worth savoring.
