Ethiopia carries a millennium of coffee legend. After discovering coffee in the Kaffa region, the southwestern and Harar coffee regions were gradually developed. The emerging Guji region is a newly developed coffee area in Ethiopia within the last 10 years. Currently, the Guji region is mainly divided into Uraga, Hambela, and Shakiso. Small farmers around the processing stations plant newer varieties. Due to altitudes exceeding 2,000 meters, the natural terroir gives the coffee explosive flavor profiles.
