Italian Espresso Blend Extraction Parameters
Italian Espresso Blend - In the Italian espresso brewing method, the coffee is extracted under high water pressure (9 bars), at a high water temperature (90-94°C), for a short duration (around 30 seconds), resulting in a concentrated coffee shot (with a coffee-to-water ratio of approximately 1:2). The rich and intense crema is a favorite among Italian coffee lovers!
To enhance the flavor and richness under these extraction conditions, there is a need for blending. A well-crafted roasting blend showcases its unique flavor profile, complemented by the diverse characteristics of single estate coffee beans, resulting in a synergistic effect that exceeds the sum of its parts.
