三奇蹟莊園 Finca Tres Milagros

三奇蹟莊園 (Finca Tres Milagros)位於哥斯大黎加(Costa Rica)海拔最高產區塔拉珠(Tarrazu),海拔高度達1450-1750公尺,來自Irazu火山的火山灰質土壤,提供咖啡樹充足的養份。三奇蹟莊園名字的由來是創園理念的三個重要因素,分別是咖啡樹、農民和土地。

Finca Tres Milagros is located in the highest-altitude region of Tarrazu, Costa Rica, reaching heights of 1450-1750 meters above sea level. The volcanic ash soil from the nearby Irazu volcano provides abundant nutrients for the coffee trees. The name "Tres Milagros" comes from the three essential elements that form the foundation of the estate: the coffee trees, the farmers, and the land.

 

莊園主認為所有成功的莊園絕對都有這三個因素互相配合,莊園主是精品咖啡圈內有名的哥倫比亞聖圖阿里歐莊園主Camilo及哥斯大黎加經營食品販售Dinant公司的Facusse家族共同合作。

The estate owners firmly believe that these three factors must work harmoniously for any successful coffee estate. They are renowned figures in the specialty coffee industry, with Camilo, the owner of the esteemed San Tuanrio Estate in Colombia, and the Facusse family, who operate the food company Dinant in Costa Rica, collaborating on the project.

 

三奇蹟莊園主要依循四個重點運作:採用溫室系統、生態多樣性共生系統、遮蔭樹栽種咖啡、選擇正確咖啡品種等。並維持低密度的咖啡樹栽種面積,這樣有助於咖啡樹養分的吸收和生長,對於杯測風味也有更高的提升。

Finca Tres Milagros follows four key principles in its operations: implementing greenhouse systems, promoting ecological diversity and symbiosis, cultivating coffee under shade trees, and selecting the right coffee varieties. They also maintain low-density coffee tree planting, which facilitates better nutrient absorption and growth, ultimately enhancing the cupping profile of their coffee.
