胖嘉處理廠(Mpanga CWS)

胖嘉處理廠 (Mpanga CWS) 位於蒲隆地 (Burundi) 北邊,以優質咖啡豆著名,全靠兩個原因:高海拔的氣候環境、良好的水洗處理制度及設備。每年處理來自約3,400位農民的咖啡櫻桃 ,給予的價格總是高於其他處理廠。廠內設備齊全,擁有450個乾燥棚架、6部去果皮機等。

Mpanga CWS is located in the north of Burundi, known for its high-quality coffee beans, attributed to two main factors: the high-altitude climate and the well-maintained washed processing system and equipment. Each year, the plant processes coffee cherries from approximately 3,400 farmers, offering prices that consistently surpass other processing facilities. The facility is fully equipped, with 450 drying racks and six depulper machines, among other resources.

 

咖啡櫻桃皆經過完整的篩選,會挑出成熟的咖啡櫻桃。在陽光乾燥前,會先在陰涼處預先乾燥,以保護咖啡不會在陽光下過久且過熱而損壞;接著才會移到太陽底下的乾燥棚架上,並不斷翻動達到均衡的曝曬,直到含水率降低至11%。

The coffee cherries undergo a meticulous selection process, ensuring that only ripe cherries are chosen. Before sun drying, they are pre-dried in a shaded area to protect them from prolonged exposure to direct sunlight and excessive heat. They are then moved to drying racks under the sun, constantly rotated to achieve uniform exposure, until the moisture content reaches 11%.

 

秉持「生產少量但高品質咖啡豆」的原則,在2014年獲得COE全國競賽第一名,並連續多年至今獲得COE優勝!

Adhering to the principle of "producing a small quantity but high-quality coffee beans," Mpanga CWS won first place in the COE national competition in 2014 and has consistently achieved COE victories in the following years.
