蒲隆地 Burundi
蒲隆地 (Burundi) 位於東非內陸，咖啡生長在海拔1750至2000公尺的高山上，多以小農裁種，大多數農民只擁有幾十棵咖啡樹，收成後將裝滿咖啡果實的袋子放在他們的頭上或腳踏車上，送到最近的生豆處理廠。蒲隆地的高海拔、多山丘、火山土、多雨量，都是生產好咖啡的要素，形成了香氣突出而風味複雜多變的特色，在風味上屬於香氣上揚、甜度夠且酸質優雅的咖啡。
Burundi, located in East Africa's interior, is home to coffee growing at elevations ranging from 1750 to 2000 meters. Primarily cultivated by smallholder farmers, most own only a few dozen coffee trees. After harvesting, they load bags filled with coffee cherries onto their heads or bicycles and transport them to the nearest coffee processing facility. The country's high altitude, hilly terrain, volcanic soil, and ample rainfall are crucial factors contributing to the production of exceptional coffee. These conditions result in coffee with a prominent aroma and a complex and varied flavor profile, characterized by uplifting fragrance, ample sweetness, and elegant acidity.
柯米羅合作社(Sogestal Kirimiro)布騰堡處理廠(Butemba)，位於海拔1938公尺獨特地段，也是蒲隆地最高海拔的處理廠，由於海拔高度，可以獲得非常乾淨的水，有助於傳統蒲隆地的雙重發酵處理法。在合作社優良營運、注重生態環境下、獲得很好的咖啡品質。並獲得2017年COE競賽第16名的佳績！
The Butemba processing station, operated by Sogestal Kirimiro cooperative, is situated at an altitude of 1938 meters, making it the highest processing station in Burundi. Due to its high elevation, the station has access to exceptionally clean water, facilitating the traditional Burundian double fermentation process. The cooperative's commitment to excellent operations, environmental sustainability, and ecological considerations contribute to the production of high-quality coffee. In recognition of its quality, the cooperative achieved an impressive 16th place in the 2017 Cup of Excellence competition!
