濾紙貼合濾杯才能將濾杯的設計效果表現出來。濾杯內部的肋骨(又稱肋柱、導水溝)，其長短、粗細、形式的不同，都是為了沖煮流速所做的設計。

濾紙放入濾杯中時 二者儘量服貼

2.沖濕濾紙，有助於將濾紙服貼濾杯
a、先沖濕中央 固定好中央處
b、接著沖濕折邊處讓它先服貼(手可以扶住折邊的對邊)
c、再沿著邊緣繞圈依序貼合
